Crazy Doc's rant and raves...
i-Ready testing starts next week, it is a great way to see how much our kids have retained over the summer and set a benchmark for the growth for this school year.
The Title 1 office sent out a summary this morning of Title 1 MAP scores. We are the only building to be in the top 5 for growth and total MPI in both subject areas. We are also above state average on ELA as a building. Way to go! Let's continue to grow those scores, reflect on what worked well last year and how we can continue to improve upon it.
Quick hits:
- If you have any questions about the information or expectations shared at the meeting please let me know. It was a long day of learning.
- As you start to put your calendar together for the year, please avoid field trips on Wednesday (Wings), Thursday, and Friday.
- Please keep all tardy passes and send them home quarterly with the report card envelopes.
Teacher Spotlight
Mrs. Squibb will be working with the creators of the Calm App to discuss the benefits of it being used in the classroom. Way to share the good work going on!
