Annual Plant & Book Festival!!
Hosted by Friends of the SB-M Library
It's here! The day you've been waiting all year for!
Generous sponsors donate plants for indoor and outdoor gardens, and local businesses offer great coupons and gift certificates. All are available at the Festival.
We again offer a wonderful range of books at this year's Festival. In addition, our Silent Auction will include :
- Li'l Tex Visits the Alamo. A charming children's book signed by the author Karen Perry
- By Streams of Water signed by author Robert Lively. A history of the Mo-Ranch illustrated with photos by Diane Hopkins Hughs and ink drawings by J. U. Salvant.
- A rare and signed copy of Matagorda: Early History by Lorraine Jeter.
- A copy of APOLLO signed by astronaut Alan Bean!
Bring your kids to the Library, too! Angela Robles, the Area Community Coordinator for H-E-B, will be at our Festival on Friday from 2-5 with a bookmark decorating station. Mascot H-E-Buddy may be there to assist as well!
Refreshments are generously donated by Sweet Tomatoes.
The Festival is ENTIRELY in support of our own branch library and the proceeds buy additional library materials, expand programs and beautify the library. Enrich your home and garden; enrich your library; enjoy community services and support our library!
