Message from Coach Reed

Hi Grind Parents,

Hope everyone had a great weekend and is adjusting well to the time change! Looking forward to two good practices this week as the team prepares for a big tournament in Baltimore this coming weekend. As you all know, the GRIND received a donation for team shoes from an anonymous donor. I sent sincere thanks from our entire team. What a great thing for our boys and our program! Hopefully shoes will be in this week so that we can distribute to players in time for our coming tournament!

Please take some time to review this week's edition of the GRIND Weekly newsletter for important team updates. Start by sharing the above video with your players. A must see!

Let's go GRIND!

GRIND Players Compete in the PYBL Rising Stars Select Game!

Courtenay, Sekani, and Evan were selected to play in the Premier Youth Basketball League's Rising Stars Select game this past weekend at the Landon School in Bethesda, MD. While the PYBL winter league was challenging, it was a good test for our players and it was good for some to be recognized among the DMV's best middle school players. Each player had strong games and congrats to Sekani for being the all-star game's leading scorer! He ended with 15 pts. and 7 rebounds. Nice work guys!
