Cornell Leadership Conference

Saturday, Nov 14, 10am-2pm, Goldwin Smith

Free lunch, networking with esteemed alumni

The Cornell Leadership Conference started with a simple idea: Let’s inspire and empower students today to be the leaders of tomorrow. Bringing back some of our best young alumni speakers to reflect on their time at Cornell and beyond, we strive to provide students on campus with the tools to develop as a leader. With a rousing call to action about the desperate need for leaders from our keynote speaker, students will leave the Conference ready to lead the next generation of Cornellians.

We have invited an array of notable alumni back to their Alma mater, ranging from industry veterans, founders and co-founders, rising professionals, on-campus presidents and more.

We'll be concluding the Conference with a recognition ceremony for the Cornell Leadership Award. The Cornell Leadership Award is an honor given to one student each year who passionately leads and inspires other to take action in their academic, extracurricular, or community environments.

Unfortunately, we will have limited space, so please RSVP here:

Consider Hosting for IVYQ!

IvyQ is a pan-Ivy League LGBTQ+ conference that takes place annually at one of the eight Ivy League institutions. IvyQ provides a forum for students to come together, discuss LGBTQ+ issues facing college students and young people, and prepare to become LGBTQ+ leaders in the real world. This year, the conference will take place on November 12th to the 15th at Cornell!

This is where you come in…

At this year’s conference, we are expecting upwards of 300+ students from different schools to be staying with us, attending workshops, and enjoying Cornell’s beautiful campus from Thursday night to Sunday morning. Without a place to host these students, there can be no conference! As a host, we ask that you provide a safe space for a student to stay for all three nights, and that you remain available to answer questions as they arise. (ex. where is the nearest dining hall? How can I find Bailey Hall?). You by no means have to stay with your hostee at all times. IvyQ attendees will be attending workshops on Friday at Saturday beginning at 10am, and will be going to keynote speakers and social events at night.

Please note that to be eligible to host, you must be living in a university-owned property. To host, please follow this link:

http://www.ivyq.org/myivyq/host_form/

If you are interested in the conference itself, registration will be open until November 1st!
