Diseases screened for: Strange lumps or signs of breast cancer.
Who should get one: Females.
Age that someone should start getting one: Between the ages of 50 and 74.
How often someone should get one: Every two years.

Pap Smears

Diseases screened for: Cervical cancer.
Who should get one: Females.
Age that someone should start getting one: When they become sexually active or turn 21.
How often someone should get one: At least every three years.

Testicular Exams

Diseases screened for: Lumps or abnormalities, testicular cancer.
Who should get one: Males.
Age that someone should start getting one: As a baby.
How often someone should get one: As part of a routine physical exam.

Prostate Exams

Diseases screened for: Prostate cancer, anything abnormal
Who should get one: Males.
Age that someone should start getting one: 40
How often someone should get one: At least every 4 years.
