Mrs. Reiner is new to the CHS Counseling team this year and is so excited to be a Spartan!
Mrs. Reiner graduated from University of Georgia in 2007 (Go Dawgs!) and moved to New York City. There, she worked in Human Resources and Recruiting before realizing she missed her Southern roots and returned back to Atlanta in 2011.
She got her Master's of School Counseling from Mercer University and started her career at Milton High School in Milton, GA in 2015. Mrs. Reiner loves working in a high school and interacting with students and the community.
She is married and has a 1.5 year old son. She enjoys traveling (pre-COVID), being outdoors, reading and being with family.
She's always a phone call or email away so never hesitate to reach out!

We're looking for new Advisory Council Members!
What is an Advisory Council?
A School Counseling Advisory Council is a team of key stakeholders that act as advisors and advocates to the school counseling program. We are looking for a select number of students and parents to join our 2020-2021 Advisory Council, where we will meet twice a year. The purpose of the council is to provide feedback on program goals (developed and explained by the school counselors), review program results (based on data presentations by the school counselors), make recommendations about the school counseling program, and serve as advocates for the program.
Interested students and parents, please email Ms. Schloemer-Bryant at Kristin.Schloemer@cobbk12.org

Make a Gratitude Jar
Starting a Gratitude Jar is one of those things you can do to create a positive change in your life.
Focusing on what you have to be grateful for forces you to not only become a more positive person—but also lowers your stress, gives you more energy and helps you sleep better.
- As often as you can, write down on a slip of paper what you’re grateful for and why.
- Write “I’m thankful for ______ today because…” and fill it in as completely as possible.
- Keep your notes of gratitude in a hand-made jar. Your jar can be whatever container you happen to have lying around your house. Decorate it and make it personal!
Seeing your gratitude jar with all your slips of gratitude in it is a great visual reminder of all the good things you have in your life.
