Attendance Reminder

It is important that all parents - regardless if your child is in person or virtual - call the attendance line to report an absence. The attendance number is 248-465-2405.

Also, it is very important that you provide a reason for your child's absence. This is for safety reasons so we can track any potential outbreaks.

Lunch Orders

- Students still need to pay for milk if they're not buying a lunch. The cost is 50 cents.

- Lunch is not available for students if orders are not placed in advance. All orders need to be placed by 9am that day. Every effort will be made to provide a lunch if an order is not placed but students will not be guaranteed a lunch choice.

- Correct Student ID Numbers need to be used when placing lunch orders to ensure students get the right lunch. Student ID Numbers can be found by logging onto your MiStar Account.

New Protocol for Picking Up Your Child Early

If your child is being picked up early from school, they must remain in their classroom until you arrive. We will call them down to the office and they will be escorted to the front door so we can ensure their safety.

We recommend you arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the time you need your child and please have your ID ready. Ring the buzzer by the front doors and we will then call your child down. Please refrain from calling the office to get your child(ren) ready.

1/8/2021 NPS COVID-19 Update / Symptom Screener

It is critical that children are still screened at home EACH MORNING before coming to school. This process is what helps keep our students and staff safe in school and a primary contributor to allowing us to continue in-person learning for students.

The Wayne County Health Department has updated the COVID-19 Daily Symptom Screening Tool STUDENT (1.8.2021) to reflect the reflect the importance of not sending a child to school with a fever over 100.3 F with or without other symptoms and the CDC recommendation of a 10 day quarantine period for those without symptoms that are identified as close contacts to a positive COVID-19 case. It is important to continue to closely monitor your child for symptoms using this updated screener tool prior to sending your child to school. This continued effort by all parents will allow us to maintain a safe environment for all students and staff and support our ability to provide continued in-person learning for all students.
