Start your school year by taking some time to RECHARGE! We are excited to offer a conference designed for teachers and support staff who work with students with disabilities. Our objective is to provide resources, supports, and services that enable general and special education teachers as well as support staff to create a learning environment that allows learners to thrive rather than just survive.

The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2), is a semi-structured, standardized assessment instrument that includes many play-based activities. In this two-day session, participants will learn more about the administration, scoring, and interpretation of the ADOS-2. Register here.


The webinars are from 9:00 a.m. to noon, and 2.5 hours (0.25) TSHA CEUs will be provided.

This webinar consists of content related to PLAAFPs (the federal law and state guidance related to PLAAFPs that identify a student’s strengths, baseline data, and critical areas of need), annual academic goals (the purpose and importance of measurable annual goals and a four-step process for developing annual academic goals), and annual functional goals (the purpose and importance of functional goals and a four-step process for developing a functional goal).

Big picture


The purpose of this document is to align each Prekindergarten guideline to one or more of the three Early Childhood Outcomes, and provide educators and families with discussion prompts to explain how each outcome relates to the guideline. The document also provides modifications and adaptations for children with special needs and extends to include a developmental continuum for teachers to use in developing appropriate goals for children who are developmentally functioning below four-year-old expectations, based on the guidelines.


Save the Date for ASHA Schools Connect Online Conference on July 13–25, 2022. This conference will be span 13 days, where participants can access school-focused live or on-demand sessions and online posters—all available for continuing education (CE) credit. More information can be found here.


The 2022 Apraxia Kids National Conference will be July 7-9, 2022 in Las Vegas. Virtual and in-person registration is available. Topics include but are not limited to evidence-based assessment and treatment of CAS across all ages, social aspects, education and academic challenges, co-occurring disorders, and advanced topics.
