Easley Weekly Update

Everything You Need to Know For The Coming Week

January 10, 2021

A Note from the principal

Hello Easley families,

I hope everyone had a good weekend. As you've likely heard by now, on Thursday evening, the DPS Board of Education unanimously voted for us to remain in Plan C for the remainder of the school year. This means we will not return to in person instruction this school year.

Mr. Bugajski and I are speaking to the students to get a sense of what's been working for them and what they are struggling with so we can make necessary tweaks as we plan for the remainder of the school year. We've gotten really great feedback from the classes we've talked to and already have some great ideas. We have also reviewed the parent feedback data from the district survey and will be making adjustments to best meet the needs of our school community. We will be doing periodic check-ins via Google surveys to ensure we make the most of the remainder of the school year and keep a pulse on how things are going for you at home. As always, please don't hesitate to reach out should you have any questions, concerns, or feedback.
