The ASWCC Programming and Diversity Board is a group of student leaders who work to enhance student life by planning events and activities for campus. The Board is dedicated to providing programming around topics of diversity and social justice issues, with the intent to increase conversations across campus that promote inclusiveness and multicultural understanding. While the Board is focused on diversity and social justice, we also provide a large number of opportunities and events such as theater productions, hip-hop concerts, lectures, intramural sports, movie nights, ski & snow boarding trips, hikes, the annual Orca Day celebration, and more!
This position would begin Winter quarter and after graduation on June 14th. Students on the Board are members of a high-functioning leadership team that meet Mondays and Wednesdays at 3:30pm for one hour. Board members receive training and real-life experience in leadership, budgeting, collaboration, marketing, program planning, graphic design, and contract negotiations. Students are paid $10 per hour and may work a maximum of 8 hours per week. No experience necessary.
We only have one requirement - you must be a WCC Student. All students are welcome and encouraged to apply!
