Aiken Electric Cooperative 2-year Touchstone Energy Scholarship
Deadline: March 1, 2016
Amount: $1,000
A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior in the cooperative service area planning to attend a 2-year technical college.

Aiken Electric Cooperative Trustee Scholarship
Deadline: March 1, 2016
Amount: $1,000
A scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior in the cooperative service area. The student must complete the application and submit a 150-200 word explanation as to why the scholarship is needed.

Mid- Carolina Electric Cooperative Scholarship
Deadline: March 1, 2016 (to the Counseling & Advisement Office)
Amount: $3,000

Eligibility:
- Primary residence must receive electricity from Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative
- Need financial assistance
- be a high school senior
- have at least a B grade average
- are active in service to others
- are goal oriented with a solid educational plan for the future
- will NOT receive numerous or full scholarships/grants

National College Funding Services
Amount: $500
You must be a senior in order to participate. A drawing will be held April 1. One entry per student.

The Lucretia M. Cayruth Scholarship of The American Business Women's Association
Amount: Varies
Eligibility:
- United States citizen
- Planning to attend an accredited technical school, college or university within the continental United States
- A GPA of 2.5-4.0

Lexington Medical Center Volunteer Auxiliary Nursing Scholarship
Deadline: March 15, 2016
Eligibility:
- High school seniors planning to major in nursing at a two or four year college

The South Carolina Education Association - Retired Scholarship
Amount: $4,000
Eligibility:
- Must be a senior graduation from a public high school in SC
- Must plan to attend a 4-year college or university within SC
- Must plan to pursue a career in education
- Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Must demonstrate leadership abilities
- Must need financial assistance

Lexington District One Office Professionals Scholarship
Amount: $600
Eligibility:
1. The student is a graduating senior who plans to attend an accredited two or four year institution in the fall 2016 term.
2. The student is pursuing a degree in a Business program (Computer Science, Advertising, Marketing, Accounting, etc.)
3. The student has maintained a 3.0 or higher GPA in high school.
4. The student is a United States citizen and a resident of South Carolina.
5. The student demonstrates though grades, character, and commitment a potential success as an office professional.

Lexington Woman's Club: Anne D. Pitts Memorial Scholarship
Amount: $5,000

Eligibility:
- This scholarship is for a Lexington School District One graduating senior having a 2.5 or higher GPA.
- The applicant must be entering the field of medicine at a college or university in SC.
Greater Lexington Chamber & Visitors Center: Doris Burkett Scholarship
Amount: $3,000
Application available in the Counseling & Advisement Office
Eligibility:
- Primary qualifications for scholarship shall be need, moral integrity, and potential of the individual to become a productive citizen.
- Not necessarily high test scores or GPA
- involved in extra-curricular activities
- shows tendency of striving hard to achieve
- involved in the community (church, etc)
- financial need
- ability to "give back" to the Lexington County community after college
- scholarship, in theory, is for the underdog who needs a little help to reach success and may be overlooked for scholarships from other organizations.
Piedmont Technical College Foundation Scholarships
Amount: Varies
Eligibility:
- Submit a PTC application and be in a degree-seeking major
- Complete the Compass test or have a qualifying SAT/ACT score
Applications are available in the Counseling & Advisement Office. Applications should be returned to Mrs. Rogers in the C&A Office by April 5.
Aspiring Fashion Professional Scholarship
Amount: $1,000
Eligibility:
- Graduating seniors interested in pursuing a fashion degree at an accredited post-secondary school or college.
