Gator Greetings
Today marks the middle of the first grading period. Wow – those first few weeks of school flew by. We are so proud of the students as they have settled into their daily routine in the classrooms. We continue to emphasize our expectations to be safe, responsible, and respectful throughout the school. September’s value of the month is SAFE and students who are demonstrating this value will be awarded a Gator Gold. We are especially looking for students who are demonstrating safe behavior on the playground.
North Central will celebrate Homecoming on Friday, September 10. All families are invited to join in the tailgate and homecoming festivities starting at 5:00pm in the NCHS Brick Plaza. The game will begin at 7:00 pm. Next week at Allisonville, we will be showing our school spirit for Homecoming by dressing up each day in the following Spirit Wear:
Tuesday: Gator Green Day
Wednesday. Sports Day
Thursday: Allisonville Spirit Day
Friday: NC Red, Black, and White Spirit Day
Happy Labor Day! I hope everyone has a great 3-day weekend and enjoys the extra day off with family or friends.

Introducing Mrs. Hassen and Mrs. Wente
Mrs. Hassen - I grew up in southern Indiana, where my parents and two of my three brothers still live. My mom was a teacher for 28 years. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. I graduated from Taylor University with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. I met my husband while at Taylor University, he is originally from Ethiopia. We have a four-year-old daughter, who can't wait to be an Allisonville Alligator next year. I absolutely love teaching kindergarten. I am so excited to begin my 11th year of teaching at Allisonville!
Mrs. Wente - I have been a resident of Washington Township since 2006. My children received their K-12 education here as well. I have been a Kindergarten IA since 2006. I am thrilled that my first year of teaching is at AV. I am proud to be. Gator!
