Christmas Break Field Trips

Birthday Pary for Jesus--Thursday December 22

We will be having a party for Jesus' Birthday in the Church Fellowship Hall on Thursday, December 22.



LDC: 10:00-10:30am You may send a snack/treat for your child to share. We will be providing cake and juice. Please plan for up to 13 kids


BH/YC: 2:15 - 2:45pm You may send a snack/treat for your child to share. We will be providing cake and juice. Please plan for up to 39 kids

Movie and PJs--Tuesday December 27

Each class will have the opportunity to go to the gym to watch an age-appropriate movie on the big screen. We will also have a little snack of popcorn. After a few days spent at home, feel free to send your child in their PJs. They are also welcome to bring a favorite blanket and stuffy.


Wiggleflies: 9:30-11:00

Beehive: 12:00-2:00

Youth Center: 2:30-4:30

Sledding--Wednesday December 28

Each class will take the van to go sledding at a spot that is age-appropriate.

Youth Center: Buffalo Hill Golf Club 1:00-3:00

Skating--Thursday December 29

The Youth Center will be going to Whitefish to skate at Stumptown Ice Den. Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately. We will eat lunch at 11:00 so we can leave by 11:30. We will return by 4:30. You may send snack stand money for your child to spend (please give it to the teacher). We will bill you $8 for admission and $4 for skate rental.


This trip will be dependent upon us finding transportation for this day. We may need to cancel or change the date.

Hay Ride with Farmer Jim--Friday December 30

We will be going to Jim Albrecht's place to ride behind his tractor on the hay wagon.

Wiggleflies: 10:30-11:30

Beehive: 9:30-10:30

Youth Center Group 1: 1:00-2:00

Youth Center Group 2: 2:00-3:00


We are still trying to work out the details of this field trip. Farmer Jim does not have any hay this year so if you know anyone who would be willing to donate 5 bales that would be helpful. Otherwise we may need to find somewhere to buy some.
