Principal's Message

Dear Eagles,

What an honor it was celebrating our first responders today. Thank you to not only those who were able to join us in person this morning but all of the first responders in our TLES community whose selfless sacrifices help to make our country a safer place for all of us! Check out our TLES Instagram page @temecula_luiseno_eagles to see some pictures from Friday Flag and the PTA-sponsored reception afterward.

We also have a lot of fun and important events coming soon. Scroll below and make a note so you can encourage your child to participate.

Lastly, families WE NEED YOUR HELP!! We ran our school data and our tardies are extremely high. Last year alone we had over 13K tardies. Yes, your read that right. We had 13,190 unexcused tardies! Families, please know that when your child is late to class not only does it take away from their learning but from the learning of those students who arrived on time. Please help us by getting up and leaving for school earlier. School begins at 8:50 AM which means students should be in their seats ready to learn at 8:50 AM. We will be shutting gates promptly at 8:50 AM every morning and ask that you please ensure your child is through the gates by the first bell at 8:45 AM. Getting your child to school on time demonstrates to them responsible habits as well as communicates to them that school is important.

Thank you for your continued support in your child's educational experience.

Sincerely,

Lani Russi

Principal, TLES
