WMS Parent Teacher Conferences will be held Thursday, Feb 13 from 2:00 - 7:00 pm. Individual parent teacher conferences are scheduled via SignUp Genius. The link can be found on our webpage. Please sign up as soon as possible to ensure a time/date that best fits your schedule.

West Middle School Teacher, Sgt. Brookins is the February Hyundai Genesis of Dallas Teacher of the Month!
Sgt. Brookins has been in education for 17 years and on the DeSoto West campus for the duration of his teaching career. Sgt. Brookins earned his degree and teaching certificate while serving in the United States Army

As a part of the 2020 City Council Work Plan goal: “Build a Stronger Sense of Community” Mayor McCowan and City Council have committed to participation in the “It’s Time Texas Community Challenge”. Here’s how you can get involved:

Get to Class on-Time!
To decrease tardiness on campus, West Middle School is using Student Conductor to track tardies. Please note that with every 4th tardy, students will be assigned Friday School detention. Since implementing this system, the number of students missing instruction due to tardies has drastically decrease. Your support in this effort is needed
