Free Book Club for Parents!

Our fantastic Liz Schwemlein, family mental health specialist, would love to facilitate a book club.

Featured book: The Power of Showing Up by Daniel J. Siegel M.D. and Tina Payne Bryson, Ph.D.

"Children who form secure attachments with their caregivers lead happier and more fulfilling lives.

These bonds are formed when parents respond to the needs of their children by providing the four S's:

Safe, Seen, Soothed, Secure."

We'll explore strategies to implement the Four S's each day with our children.

Parents as Teachers (PAT)

Parents As Teachers is a home education program. A home educator will visit your home and bring play based activities that support developmentally appropriate growth and learning. Teachers will work with your schedule to plan a monthly visit. You can sign up by stopping into the preschool and requesting a paper form, or by filling out the online form using the link below.

Playgroup meets every Tuesday from 11:00-12:00 at Edith Teter Preschool. Playgroup is for kids from birth to 3 years old and their caregiver. Join us as we play, sing songs, read books, and enjoy a snack. We meet indoors and ask that adults wear a mask. We do not meet if the school is closed for weather or scheduled breaks. You can view announcements or the school calendar here: https://etps.parkcountyre2.org/en-US
