Program Look Ahead
What’s Happening in December in Each Program
Student Highlight- Sports Medicine
Macy Neal is a Senior at Legacy High School. (pictured above on the right)
Macy is in our Sports Medicine program because she has always been interested in how injuries happen and how they are treated especially when it comes to athletes.
Macy will be going to college for Pre-physical Therapy or Exercise Science and hopes to work for the NBA or NFL someday.
She is currently an Intern with Legacy's athletic trainer through Children's Hospital; she has been able to help with lots of finger dislocations and one possible patella break!
Riley Hennings is a Junior at Legacy High School. (pictured above on the left)
Riley got into the Sports Medicine program because of her interest in all things sports. She likes watching & playing sports but most of all, working with people.
She currently plays soccer and basketball playing the positions of goal keeper and post. Her soccer team, Boulder County United, just had an undefeated season!
Riley would like to pursue a career in Sports Medicine or Trauma Medicine and she is thinking about doing the EMT program at Washington Square next year.
