This is an invite-only event. Invitations were emailed to all students who are receiving one or more award, and their guardians. Further information is available on the emailed invites.
Senior Survey & Final Transcript
ALL seniors are required to complete the senior survey (in Scoir) for graduation.
Seniors are responsible for sending their final transcript to the college they will be attending. Click here for instructions on how to order and send your transcript using Parchment. College counselors will NOT send final transcripts for students.
Perfect Attendance Award
If you have never missed a day of school throughout your last four years at Granada, email the attendance office by Wednesday, May 11th to see if you are eligible to receive the Perfect Attendance Scholarship.

SMC Scholars Program
The Scholars Program at SMC is a transfer program designed to assist students who desire to transfer to universities such as UCLA, UC Irvine, LMU and more.
They are accepting Summer/Fall 2022 applications NOW until July 7, 2022. The Scholars Program works for many majors, but not all majors. Students are encouraged to read the information on the website carefully.

Cal Grant GPA Upload
Cal Grant awards seniors financial aid based on their GPA and household income.
To facilitate the financial aid process, GHC has automatically uploaded the Cal Grant GPA for all seniors to the California Student Aid Commission.
College Essay Guy: Summer Bootcamps (Virtual)
All juniors receive FREE access to the College Essay Guy LIVE: Summer Boot Camps (Virtual). If you would like to opt-out and not receive access, please email your college counselor by Friday, May 6th.

May 16: Understanding Financial Aid
An overview of the financial aid process. Simultaneous sessions (one in English, one in Spanish) will address popular terms/structures and offer tips for navigating the financial aid process.
A discussion with UChicago and University of Michigan on how essays can add an important perspective to a student’s application and learn how different kinds of essays are considered in a holistic review process.
May 18: Look Inside the Admissions Committee: a Case Study Exercise
This is your chance to see what an application looks like and how applications are reviewed! Together, you and admissions counselors from UChicago and Northwestern University will review applications, and decide who is admitted, waitlisted, or denied admission. See you in the committee room!
May 19: Making the Most of Your Summer
Join Bates College, Colorado College, Emory University, University of Southern California, and UChicago for a discussion on how to make the most of your summer to prepare yourself for the college search and application process.
First-Generation Students: Starting your College Search
Join admission officers from the six colleges (Amherst, Bowdoin, Carleton, Pomona, Swarthmore, and Williams) to learn more about what you can do to prepare for college this summer.
HBCU Black Male Youth Summit
During this summit, students will experience non-traditional, creative and interactive presentations and seminars, discussing topics on leadership development, social skills, academic success and career exploration.
Dartmouth Bound Summer Program
Deadline: May 18
The Dartmouth Bound Program will take place on campus in Hanover, NH from July 18-20, 2022. The College will cover travel expenses, housing, and meals for all participants. Attend engaging workshops and panel series to prepare for college life.
Engineering Outreach
