FUNDRAISING FUNDRAISING

2023 March A Thon

What is a March A Thon?

This event will take place during our regularly scheduled band camp. Students will march the equivalent of 50 laps around the football field throughout the morning. In addition, they will partake in team building activities, games and other events.

When: FRIDAY, AUGUST 11, 2022 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Where: EAHS Band Field

Why: The money we raise during this event will help to offset the costs of maintaining our instrumental program and ensuring we can afford future years many wonderful opportunities. Specifically this year, the March A Thon will help to offset the costs associated with running our band camp. Our goal for this fundraiser is $5,000! We need everyone’s help to achieve this goal!

Goal: Our goal is for EVERY band student to raise $15 - 25, which would help us achieve our overall goal of $5,000!

Ways to Donate: Cash, check (made out to IMA), or online donation are all accepted! If writing a check, include the student name in the memo line. For any students that will attend the Florida tour: half of each donation will go towards that individual’s fundraising goal/ contribution.

Checks should be made payable to IMA. Please have your sponsor(s) write your name on the memo line.

NEW: Business Sponorships

The IMA is seeking business sponsors to help support our students! This is a NEW extension of our program and we are looking forward to the opportunity to give more to our students!

Corporate sponsorship of the IMA is integral to the financial well-being of our operating budget supporting the many opportunities afforded our students. The IMA supports over $80,000 in annual expenses, including annual scholarships, marching band operating expenses, uniform care, new instrument/ equipment purchases, maintenance costs, travel opportunities, and more.

As a corporate sponsor of the IMA, there are many benefits your organization would receive, in addition to supporting our students. We hope you consider supporting our wonderful music program. Our students work incredibly hard each year and we hope to be able to continue to support their needs through generous donations such as yours.

How it works

  1. Ask local businesses to support our program by directing them to our website OR handing them this letter!
  2. Businesses will complete the form at the bottom of this page.
  3. Upon completion, businesses will receive email confirmation.
  4. They will be contacted by our business sponsor chairperson for details re: specifics pertaining to your sponsorship level (advertisement design, etc.). Artwork requirements
  5. If paying via check, mailing address is:
    Instrumental Music Association
    Attn: Business Sponsorships
    PO Box 3535
    Easton, PA 18043

PLEASE NOTE: Any business sponsorships secured by students will result in 10% of that sponsorship going towards their trip contribution!

For more information, please visit our Sponsorship Website!

Daily Dollars Fundraiser

We are kicking off a new "daily dollars" fundraiser!

The idea of this fundraiser is students seek donations for a full month of dates (July). If students find someone to donate for July 02, that individual would donate $2. Likewise, if they find someone to donate for July 20, they would donate $20.

Many groups have recommended this fundraiser as an easy means of helping students reach fundraising goals. 50% of all monies received will go towards student contributions!

Daily Dollars Fundraiser Info Sheet - contains all the information you need to know about the fundraiser, what to turn in, etc.

Daily Dollars Log Sheet - use this to keep track of all your donations

Calendar - use this to note what dates you have sponsored. You can take a screenshot of this & X out each day that is sponsored!

HOW IT WORKS:

  1. Get the word out!

    1. Make calls and send emails to your friends and family. Even post on social media. Have your parents/ guardians post to their pages to help! Let people know this is a budget friendly fundraiser so just about anyone can make a donation, even your friends!

  2. Keep track of your donations!

    1. Mark them off on your calendar and make sure to keep up with your donations on your log sheet.

      1. Cash OR check is accepted. All checks should be made out to IMA.

        1. On the memo line: write student name - DAILY DOLLARS

  3. Turning in your calendars

    1. All calendars are due in the gray lockbox on August 01, 2023. Calendars can also be returned to:

Instrumental Music Association

Attn: Daily Dollars

PO Box 3535

Easton, PA 18043

  1. What to return: Calendar, Log Sheet, & Donations collected

Questions? Reach out to Mr. Ballentine at ballentinec@eastonsd.org.

Raise Right - Fundraising Opportunity

An EASY & EFFECTIVE means of fundraising! 100% of the amount fundraised goes to helping offset student contributions for our upcoming travel opportunities.

WHAT IS IT?
