HAPPY NEW YEAR
STUDENT ENROLLMENT: 768
WILSON WRANGLER FAMILIES
Happy New Year!! I hope that you all had a wonderful holiday and a Happy New Year. I am personally excited to set new goals and to work to accomplish each one this year. The first semester flew by us. I anticipate the same for this semester as well. As we venture into the new year, we have many items that are scheduled. The second semester is our typical "Testing Season". District Benchmarks and District Progress Monitoring Assessments, Gifted and Talented Testing, TELPAS and any Field Test that are assigned to our campus will take place between January and May. We use assessments as a tool to know were students are excelling and where we need to better support the students academically. It is important that on those dates, students are in attendance, if they are not ill.
We are still functioning in a pandemic. With a new variant and many gatherings over the break, if your child is not feeling well or has been exposed, please contact our school nurse (Nurse Thomas at 281-463-5950) and keep the student home.
We are looking forward to all of our students returning on January 4th. As a reminder, there will be No School on January 3rd. ENJOY your last day of vacation.
Special Shout out to PTO for the Holiday Party in a Bag Treats that was provided to the campus for the students Holiday Social and all of the volunteers that helped to put the bags together. Also, thank you PTO for the yummy Carabba's Lunch that was provided to our staff on Dec. 15th. It was greatly appreciated.
We are very blessed to have such an amazing community of support from our parents. Thank you for partnering with us to teach your child. We love our Wranglers and we want only the best from them.

CAR RIDER PARENTS / GUARDIANS & MORNING WINDSONG WALKERS
Parents and Guardians,
Please have your students to prepare to exit the car when a staff member arrives to the car. would like to the move the car rider line a little quicker.
If you are a parent who is walking to the campus, please wait until you have been instructed to cross and do not cross in between the cars. There is usually a staff member that directs the in coming cars to enter the parking and one that releases cars. Our goal is that all students, parents and staff will be as safe as possible during this time.
Reminder, school starts at 8:40 a.m. The doors open at 8:30 a.m. each day. When the car rider line closes, parents will need to come in to sign your child in.
Thank you for your assistance.
SCHOOL BEGINS AT 8:40
Late students (arriving after 8:40), parents will need to come in the building to check the student in.

Dear CFISD Community,
LEAD Safely 2021-2022 is our commitment to providing a safe learning environment for all of our students and staff. We hope you will take the time to review the health and safety protocols detailed in the plan, including the importance of self-monitoring for COVID-19 symptoms, vaccine and testing availability, disinfection procedures, ventilation of facilities, and district notification of positive cases. Departments and campus principals will be implementing additional procedures specific to their buildings to ensure the safety of all. We will continue to update health and safety protocols in the plan as needed and appreciate your patience as we navigate this upcoming school year together.
Please share any concerns or questions you may have with your supervisor or campus principal.
