New School Websites!
We have developed charter-specific websites where you can find resources on what is happening in our area in an ongoing effort to provide you with the most relevant information in an easily accessible format. This local site will be the one-stop-shop for your Parent Portal login, information on local preferred vendors, and enrollment. More features including local event calendars and newsletter archives will be coming soon! Inspire is a family of charter schools sharing the same mission and vision to provide families with choice and flexibility.

Science
Have your student(s) learning about chemical reactions through baking soda based experiments. As an alkaline, baking soda will react with acids such as vinegar (a great household item to use). When the reaction takes place carbon dioxide and water will be released. This visual representation can be intensified by adding dish soap and/or food coloring:
- Monster Tea Party
- Baking Soda Volcano
- What Reacts with Baking Soda?
- Blow Up a Balloon
- Baking Soda Ice Cubes
These activities are fun for the entire family and the best part is watching the kids reactions.
History
Many students have been visiting California missions and studying the beginnings of settling California. The beginnings of settling San Diego are celebrated each year at the Old Town Mormon Battalion Celebration, right in the square of Old Town San Diego! Participate in rope making, brick making, washboard clothes-washing, instrument playing, western song singing, and even covered wagon rides around the square. Admission is free! Old Town San Diego Historic Park: 4002 Wallace St. San Diego, CA 92110 from 10am-3pm on Saturday, January 26th, 2019!
Math
XtraMath is a free site to help students master their basic facts. There is a way that a parent or teacher can create an account. Then, the student will have a login for their own account. They will work at their own pace with math facts. Parents or teachers can get progress reports sent to them. If a family is wanting to help their child master math facts, this is the site for them. Check it out!!
