Weekly Update
We had a blast celebrating Valentine's Day at Gates Mills. Thank you to our fabulous PTC for providing a delicious heart cookie and water for all of our students.
Just a friendly reminder that there is NO SCHOOL on Monday, February 15th in observance of President's Day. Enjoy the long weekend with your family.
We are Halfway Through our fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! We have currently raised $705.43!! We are so very appreciative of everyone’s support so far –thank you! We are asking that everyone join our school squad and help raise awareness by collecting funds to benefit the mission of LLS: to find cures for blood cancers and to improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
To join in our efforts, visit HeroSquad.org, find our school and select “Join Your Classroom Team” to set up your page. From there, share it via email, on social media, or have your student write a letter sharing why the Hero Squad is important to them! In order to help your student develop goal-setting, self-motivation and organizational skills they will earn fun Hero Gear at various fundraising levels, such as a super cool Mystery Mini, Hero Squad Tee and a plush friend, Champ, who has powers. Champ sends a Hero Squad signal to all patient Heroes letting them know they have our squad supporting them!
Keep Smiling,
