Today was Photo Day!
Here's a sneak peak of how the day looked like in "Afritude" If you didn't pre-order a package for your child(ren), you can do so tomorrow and on Friday. Call the receptionist or email info@aisbrazza.org.
Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent-Teacher-Conferences are great opportunities for teachers to share the academic progress and growth of your child based on classroom observations, MAP test scores, assessments, portfolios and assignments. Teachers learn more about their students from parents or guardians for a better understanding of students' strengths, needs, behaviors, and learning styles.
Research has also shown that parental involvement plays a vital role in students' academics and behavior at school.
School will close for both Thursday and Friday at 12:00 and conferences will begin at 1:00PM. Lunch will not be served for students on both days. Please plan to pick your child up on time.
All elementary parents have received a slot in the schedule while secondary parents drop in to see their child's teachers at their convenience and served on a first come, first served basis. Below is the elementary schedule for your reference.
We look forward to meeting with you all!

AISB Students Represented the School at the Congo Basin Summit
The African Foundation for Education (AFE) organized a seminar at AISB with several high schools in Brazzaville attending ahead of the Congo Basin summit in order raise awareness on the importance of conserving biodiversity. This seminar was facilitated by three of our students, Besylan, Mouhamed and Shema with the support of Professor Suspense Ifo, a world renowned expert on the Congo Basin issues and professor of ecology at Marien Ngouabi University.
Special thanks to AFE, the organization that birthed AISB for its continuous commitment to quality education. Thanks to their initiative, our students again participated in the summit with sponsorship from UNESCO and UNICEF.

Harvard Model United Nations (HMUN) & Future leaders Program (FLP) USA
AISB has a six-year history of attending Model United Nations (MUN) and leadership summits conferences in Kenya, Dubai and in UCLA, Johns Hopkins, Harvard, and Yale in the United States of America, that was interrupted by Covid-19.
We are passionate about developing our students' leadership skills and situating them on the global map through such programs. So, this year, we have fourteen students aged 13-16 who will be representing AISB in New York and Boston from January 21-29, 2024. For more information about the HMUN and FLP, see the excerpts below.
