9/24-noon dismissal, Erev Rosh Hashanah
9/25-9/26- No School, Rosh Hashanah
9/26- October lunch orders due
10/3-noon dismissal, Erev Yom Kippur
10/9-10/10- No School, Sukkot
10/13- 2nd grade eats lunch in the sukkah, 11:52 AM, parents invited
10/14-2nd grade has recess at 11:54 and then lunch at 12:18(in case you come eat with your child this day)

Dear 2nd grade parents,
Rosh Hashanah ראש השנה was our main subject this past week. We sang holiday songs, learned about the symbols and customs of the חגCHAG (holiday) and learned the names of the Hebrew months.
We also started working in our new holiday booklet.
