No school Wednesday-Friday.
Happy Thanksgiving to all our Niedermeier families! Enjoy this time off with your family.
Emergency Order under MCL 333.2253 – Gatherings
Parents-because of current emergency orders that prohibit indoor gatherings for no than 2 households, students will not be allowed to pass out birthday invitations at school.
Lunch Orders
Student lunches can be ordered ahead using the link below. If your student is going to be late to school for an appt etc. please use this link and order their lunch ahead of time. This will help our lunch staff stay organized.
Pickup -Remote student lunches.
If you are picking up lunches for the week pickup is on Tuesdays from 3:00-6:00pm. Just keep in mind we have dismissal from 3:00-3:30 and our parking lot will be congested during that time.
Please do not follow the car line around the parking lot if you are picking up food. That line is for students being picked up. Please park in a parking spot and look for the sign that says "remote food pick up" to get your food.

Picture Retakes
Picture retakes will be Wednesday December 9, 2020. All students who did not get a picture in November will get their picture taken on the 9th.
We will send more information as the date gets closer.
HELP WANTED!!
Airport Community Schools is looking for substitute custodians, long-term teacher substitutes, Jet Care caregivers, and Aides. Contact Andrea Heiden at 734-654-4027.

Just a reminder we are a peanut free school. Keep this in mind when sending in snacks and/or packing lunches.

Dismissal Changes
Please have your yellow car tag in your car window everyday! This helps if we have a substitute to move the carline quickly!
Just a quick reminder on how to change your students dismissal status in PIKMYKID.
- log into the app and select the student you wish to change
- click on the calendar option and select the day you wish to change.
- it will give you 3 options. change pickup mode, delegate another person to pick up, or after school.
- if you want to change your student from bus to the carline you choose "change pickup mode" and select which mode you want to change.
Please DO NOT change their ""Default pickup mode" on the home screen. That changes their pickup mode everyday for the rest of the year. You must choose the day on the calendar and change it that way.
Again, this is important so we have your student ready in the carline for you or on the bus and on time after school. If you have any questions please reach out to me in the office.
**Please make sure you are announcing everyday that you are here to pick up your student once you arrive in our parking lot.

PowerSchool Parent Portal
If, when attempting to create an account for PowerSchool Parent Portal, you receive a message that states you already have an account with that email, go back to the login page and choose Forgot Username or Password.
Select the Username tab and enter your email.
An email will be sent to you with your Username for you to reset your password.
If the email does not show in your Inbox, check your SPAM folder.
Please recycle your plastic at Niedermeier.
We have a recycle bin outside of our building under the awning in the drop off loop. Please deposit all plastic in this bin at your convenience. You may also send it in with your student if you would like.
Please no bottles or cans. Recycling your plastic at Niedermeier helps our school earn points and possibly win prizes!
