A Note From Mrs. Waters
It was very nice to meet with each of you and discuss how your child has adjusted to first grade and how he/she is doing academically. Thank you for attending the parent-teacher conference and taking an interest in your child's education.
In your child's home folder is a flyer for your child's school pictures
Next week is a short week. There will be no school on Wednesday and Thursday. Tuesday is a full day. While next week is a short week and the students will not have homework, it is still important that your child is reading every night. A classroom book will go home on Sunday and Monday.
We will be celebrating Halloween on Tuesday and your child may wear his/her costume to school on that day.
We are starting a new writing unit: Informational How To. Please read the attached unit letter.
