Principal's Message
Hello Families,
We have had a week filled with celebration, care and fun. Students in LUCHA have been selling Val-o-Grams and delivered these messages of appreciation on Valentine's Day. Our BSU collaborated with our SUN Program to sponsor a field trip to the Portland Art Museum for the Africa Fashion and Black Artists of Oregon exhibits. On Thursday, we had our ongoing showing of the movie Hidden Figures during lunch, which will continue throughout the month. Next week will bring our Black History Month Spirit Week, see below for the dress up days.
Lastly, we welcomed AP TaLisa Green back to the building today. We have missed her and it brought so much joy to our staff and students to have her here! She did not miss a beat and quickly stepped in to support our young learners be at their best.
In Partnership,
