Examples of Chemical and Physical Properties:
Physical Properties- Smell, Feel, Shape, and State of Matter,
Chemical Properties- Rusting, Burning, Mixing Together, and Color Change.
Chemical!
Info On Chemical Property!
There are many Chemical Properties such as rusting, burning, bubbling, and foaming. Examples of Chemical Changes happening are like the summer leaves changing in the fall, metal rusting, explosion of fireworks, or food spoiling/expiring.
Ex. Rust on Bike
The bike has had a chemical change occur because the acid in the rain caused the metal part of the bike to rust.
Ex. Fireworks
When lighting up a firework, you need fire. all the fire is used to light up the chemicals that were put in the firework in order for it to light.
Ex. Leaves Changing
Chemical Changes also occurs when the seasons change, due to instant climate increase/decrease, the pigments then form into various colors.
Physical!
Info on Physical Property!
There are many properties that make up Physical Properties such as Texture, Shape/Form, State of Matter, Temperature. Examples of Physical Changes are crumbling a piece of paper, Ice Melting, Melting/Freezing something, or breaking a bottle of glass.
Ex. Ice melting to Water
Nothing changes! It's still water just in solid form.
Ex. Broken Glass
Just like the ice; Nothing changes. It's still glass, but broken.
Ex. Crumpling Paper
The paper is STILL paper. Nothing was changed besides the shape, you can still write on it, all you have to do is open it up!
