Weekly Update June 2, 2023

We are so proud of the newest Gahanna Lincoln High School graduates. Check out some of the highlights from the GLHS Graduation Ceremony!

Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools (GJPS) is developing a comprehensive three-year strategic plan. To assist in these efforts, we are conducting listening sessions and deploying an electronic survey among staff, students, alumni, parents, guardians, board members, and community stakeholders.

You are invited to participate in a listening session and/or electronic survey. The objective of these sessions is to gather input (feelings, thoughts, and ideas) from a wide range of GJPS stakeholders.

SURVEY PARTICIPATION

LISTENING SESSION PARTICIPATION

Participation in the listening sessions will take 45 minutes and be conducted via Zoom at various times from June 14 - June 30. Click on the following link to sign up for a listening session: https://calendly.com/redcon

Join us at Tim Hortons on Agler Road on Wednesday, June 7 at 8:00 - 9:30 a.m. for Coffee and Conversation!

Learn about opportunities for employment with Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools at our Support Staff Job Fair. You will learn about positions ranging from secretary work to cafeteria help, interview on-site and have an opportunity for on-the-spot hiring.

In November 2020, voters in the Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools district approved a bond and operating levy to fund Phase Two of the GJPS Master Facilities Plan.

Phase Two of the Master Facilities Plan Includes:

• Additions and renovations to High Point and Blacklick Elementary
• Additions and renovations to Middle School East
• New Lincoln High School on current site

BinaxNOW At-Home COVID-19 Rapid Test Kits are currently available for students and staff currently enrolled in GJPS schools who are EXHIBITING SYMPTOMS of COVID-19.

REQUEST FORM MUST BE COMPLETED IN ADVANCE
While supplies last, you may request kits for:

• The number of students you have enrolled in Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools in your household who are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.

• The number of GJPS staff in your household who are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.

A confirmation email will not be sent.
