Counselors' Corner
One class per grade level with the most perfect attendance will win a POPCORN party every month until the end of the school year!!!
Please share with your students.
Custodian Closet
Spit Balls are being seen in the restrooms. Please check the rest-room ceiling as your students are entering and exiting them to make sure they are not adding to the stalactites!
Also make sure students are not crawling out under the door and leaving the stall locked.
Thank you to the teachers that have left their Vindicator bottles in the hall this week to be refilled. We have to be proactive to stay healthy!
We are still seeing classrooms where the litter has not been picked up at the end of the day.... please have your students pick up all the paper, crayons, pencils, books off the floor daily. Also those student desks may need cleaning out...... if you bump the desk and a pile falls to the floor it needs some attention.
Thank you for all your support in keeping the school looking clean, germ free and pest free.
Technology Tips
Progress Reports will be sent home on February 5th. As of today you should have a minimum of 3 grades for each subject in your gradebook. It is imperative that you keep your gradebook up to date to ensure truth in grading. Beginning next week gradebooks will be monitored by weekly. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Parent Connection
Some of you have inquired about resources to help you learn Spanish!
One of my favorite resources is Babbel. You can download it as an app or use it on the computer
Research shows that being bilingual "can have a profound effect on your brain, improving cognitive skills not related to language and even shielding against dementia in old age."
