Why Robert E. Lee is interesting!
- Robert E. Lee is interesting because when he was young, him and his mother/father didn't have much money or much of anything, but they still made it and Robert E. Lee became one of the most important Generals of any war in American History (In my opinion). Robert E. Lee a southern boy and fought for what he believed in, and he wasn't going to let ANYONE tell him what he could or could't do. When he was a young teenager he wanted to become a general, and that's why he went to a Military academy at age 18, and that's what i want to do. I want to go into the Air Force when i get out of college and i think Robert E. Lee is a real inspiration to mine. And he is also interesting because if he wasn't a general for the South in the Civil war, we would't have stood a chance in the American Civil war, Yea we lost but Robert E. Lee stood by his men and didn't give up or didn't go down.
