Library News
Happy first day of school! Here's what's going on in the library this week:
- Backpack tags are a process. Please let me know if you found any conflicts during dismissal today. I will spend tomorrow morning reprinting/matching/putting out fires. Please don't wait until dismissal to let me know there is a problem.
- Calling all summer reading forms! Please remind your students to turn in Summer Reading forms (blue paper with thumbs up emojis!) by WEDNESDAY! If you put them in my box, please make sure their name is on it. We'll be celebrating Friday during lunch!
- We'll be closed for students this week while I'm around the school helping with first week craziness. Teachers can still come in to check out books! If I'm not in a library, leave a stack of the books you'd like with your name on it. I'll deliver them as soon as I can. Or, you can just let me know what kind of books you need and I'll pull them. The teacher request form is on the library website (See the next bullet).
- Don't forget to book mark the library website! This is where you can request books, new backpack tags, sign up for the library, or have something posted on Facebook. Click here!
- Next week will be orientation week. Each homeroom class needs to attend library orientation before students can come on their own. If you partner teach, please get with your partner and decide who will take the classes to the library! Use the link below to sign up for a time! Remember to change the calendar to next week to find the available time slots.
