The Mata Memo
December 14, 2021
Principal's Message
As we are approaching winter break, I would like to thank our parents, students, and staff for contributing to Mata Montessori School. We are all so proud to be part of our amazing school. We have had an outstanding semester. This week we are administering ACP tests for 3rd-8th grade. Please make sure your child arrives at school on time and ready to have a great day!
December is a month to reflect on friends and family. Hopefully, you can take some time during the Winter break to connect or reconnect with people who are important to you.
From the Mata Montessori family to yours, we wish you a holiday season filled with joy.
Just a reminder, the last day of school before winter break is December 17th and school will resume on Wednesday, January 5th.
We hope you have a great week and a wonderful winter break!

Dallas ISD Updates for Campus Visitors
While Dallas County is in Level Red, campus visitors and volunteers will not be allowed. We will use virtual meeting options to limit campus visitors. All visitors who enter the building will be required to wear a face covering and those who proceed beyond the reception area will follow specific guidelines for visitors.
Visitor Screening/PPE Requirements
Please self- screen before entering any Dallas ISD facility. If visitors have COVID-19 symptoms, or are lab confirmed with COVID-19, they must notify the campus and remain off campus until they meet the criteria for re-entry.
All individuals entering the building will be required to wear face masks.
Visitors will stand behind the shield guard installed at reception desks or recommended 6 feet distance.
Any individuals permitted to proceed beyond the reception area must follow all safety and campus protocols.
