National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalists represent less than 1% of the nation’s high school graduating seniors who sit for the PSAT. Prosper ISD is proud to have 12 National Merit Semifinalists.

International Competition for Marketing and Communication Professionals Awards
MarCom Awards honors excellence in marketing and communication while recognizing the creativity, hard work and generosity of industry professionals. MarCom is one of the largest, most-respected creative competitions in the world. Each year about 6,500 print and digital entries are submitted from dozens of countries.

The Platinum Award is the highest award given. The PHS radio station, PHS The Talon, earned its third Platinum MarCom Award with “Two Girls, Double ADHD, One Braincell."

Prosper Education Foundation Grant from Welch HVAC to Prosper High School welding program
Through its partnership with the Prosper Education Foundation, Welch HVAC presented nearly $7,000 to the Prosper High School welding program for the purchase of welding equipment and safety supplies.

Proposed 2024-2025 Attendance Boundaries
Two new schools will open in Fall 2024 -- Betty Jackson Elementary School and Daniel L. Jones Middle School -- resulting in a change of attendance boundaries affecting Spradley Elementary School, Hays Middle School and Rogers Middle School.
The district will have meetings to solicit feedback from community members in the affected attendance zones.

Attendance Boundary community feedback meeting on November 30 at Hays Middle School from 6-7 pm.
After soliciting feedback from the community, the Board will determine attendance zones at the December 2023 Board Meeting. More information will be provided later this week to the campuses that will be impacted.

10.B. a resolution expressing official intent to reimburse costs of projects

In order to provide an efficient process at the Board meetings, we ask that individuals complete the Public Comment Form and submit it no later than noon on the day of the meeting. The Notice of Meeting/Agenda is posted 72 hours in advance of the Board meeting.
