Mole Day 2015 Projects and Celebration

Mole Day is an international day of celebration for those in the chemistry field. As your child hopefully told you, a mole is a measurement unit we use to measure large quantities of atoms or molecules. 1 mole is equal to 6.022 x 10^23 particles (atoms or molecules). The date for mole day is always from 6:02 am to 6:02 pm on October 23rd (10-23). This year's theme was "May the mole be with you!" With that in mind, many of the students went with a Star Wars theme for their projects.
