Standards Mastery for RTI Placement
Math RTI: Grades 2-6
March 2-3
Students will independently complete Form A of the test over a new standard. This should be done during RTI time in small groups proctored by classroom teachers, TA's, and RTI staff. Which students are in each group can be determined by the classroom teacher and do not need to be based on ability. This is just to provide a small group setting for the best focus and assessment possible.
The results of this assessment will be used to determine RTI groups. iReady does a pretty good job giving us a breakdown as soon as the results are in. Katie & Whitney will add students' names to the spreadsheets below to indicate groupings as that information is available. Some adjustments (especially for the size of groups) may need to be made quickly to assure the groups are set prior to the start of RTI lessons. This should be done as a collaboration between classroom teachers and RTI teachers during the two days of iReady time (March 4 & 5).
Rachel will begin adding lesson recommendations to each group as soon as that information is available in iReady.
