Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all! See you Next Year!

What a Fun Week!

Thank you so much, parents, for providing the funds to have an awesome week! We completed a lot of different crafts throughout the week. Many came home today in their gift bags. One craft, a snowman ornament, we did not get to do. So please enjoy this craft at home!

In addition to crafts, we had sticker pages that the children put together. Then they wrote about the pictures using words from their "holiday" page in their personal classroom dictionaries.

Today, our Polar Express Day, we were busy! Our day started with decorating cookies. Then we made some more crafts. We watched the Polar Express, while enjoying the cookies and hot cocoa. Later, after lunch, we finished the movie while eating popcorn! The children did have Art today. They also enjoyed a few cold moments outside in the fresh air for recess. Before we knew it, it was time to pack up and go home! Please see below for pictures from this past week.

Again, thanks for such a great week. I am blessed to have amazing families, awesome students, and such a great group of staff members to make the first half of this year memorable.

Have a GREAT holiday vacation. Rest up and relax. See you next year (2016)!

Meet "Minnie" our Reading Guest for a Day!

No Homework, Book Bags, Etc. over break!

Backpacks were full of crafts and goodies from our fun week. Therefore, I did not send home any orange folders. I will keep them safe and sound over the holidays!

Also, if your child brought back their reading book bag, I have kept those as well. Enjoy a long vacation. If you are craving "homework," practice sight words. But take a break from the reading books and enjoy your travels and family time. Happy Holidays!

Crafts, Creations, Cookies and More!

Our Reindeer Writing

Congratulations for reading so well on your own independent level. Keep up the great work!

January Calendars did not make it into folders. Folders did not come home. Here is a sneak peek. I will put these in folders when we return!
