Message from the principal

As we reflect back on Teacher Appreciation Week and look ahead to our last two weeks with teachers and their bright future, I wanted to share part of an email I received from a recent UHS graduate who is finishing her freshman year at college. As she is studying for her finals, she is so thankful for teachers she had at UHS. Specifically, she shared, "Many of my friends were not ready for the type of work that has to be done in college, and I feel so blessed to have gone to Urbandale and learn from amazing teachers. I truly felt ready for this next step."

Thank you again for our team here and for our students who are rising to the challenge to learn and grow while at UHS and in their time beyond...whether that be at college, trade school, the armed services, the workforce, or whatever their future holds. Go out and change the world!
