Choir Has Strong Performances At State Competition
Howell Choir students had a strong showing at the MSHSAA State Competition on Saturday. Our Vikings brought home several medalists from the day of competing against other students from around the state. Below you can find a list of our Silver and Bronze medalists. Band Has Success At State Competition
On Saturday our Howell band students competed at the MSHSAA State Competition. The band had 14 students earn either Gold or Silver medals. Below is a list of band students receiving this recognition. Congratulations to all Vikings that competed at the State contests.

Tennis Finishes Second At GAC Tournament
The Boys Tennis program finished second in the GAC Tournament last week. The Vikings brought home several medalists during the two day tournament. You can find the medalists listed below. Good luck to tennis as they compete in Districts!

Boys Volleyball Wins Lafayette Tournament
Golf Finishes Second in GAC Tournament
Congratulations to Boys Golf for their second place finish in the GAC Tournament. Three Howell golfers finished in the Top 10 in the GAC Tournament. Kirk Brewster led the way with a 78 and a 2nd place finish. Cole Prager was 6th with an 80, while Dom Steeno was 10th with an 83.
Both Brewster & Prager also finished with enough season points to earn 2nd Team All-Conference honors. Congrats to Coach Wayne, staff and the entire golf program on a great regular season.
JV Golf Wins GAC Tournament
JV finished off a perfect conference season with a 1st place finish in the GAC tourney. This is the 4th consecutive year with season title. The team shot 343. All five guys won medals. Blake Derleth was 1st overall with 82. Gruener was 3rd (86), Ackerman 4th (86), Campbell 6th (89), Koskolos 9th (93). They would have finished one shot out of 3rd in the Varsity GACs based on their team score.

Choir Performs In Windy City Choral Festival
The Howell Choir students traveled to Chicago from March 8-11 to perform in the Windy Cindy Choral Festival under the direction of Z. Randall Stroope. The concert was held at the prestigious Symphony Center in downtown Chicago on March 10 for an audience of hundreds. The students experienced so many fantastic tastes and sites of Chicago including Giordano’s Pizza, The Magnificent Mile, Navy Pier, Shedd Aquarium, Chicago Cultural Center, John Hancock building, Chess Records and Millennium Park. You can view a recap of all of the fun in the video below. Congratulations to Mrs. Fitzpatrick and the Howell Choir for another excellent job in representing Howell.

The summer, fall, winter, and spring dead periods for the 2018-19 school year have been released. The MSHSAA dates can be found below. We hope that this information helps all Vikings and their families coordinate and prepare for the summer and sports seasons ahead during the 18-19 school year.
