School Board Meeting
EdCamp- October 27th
Be brainstorming any ideas for EdCamp as the schedule sign up will be coming out soon!
Hmm..who gets what room?
Our recent survey results are in and we have decided the building will be arranged by team!
But now the important question, who gets what room?! Well this will be decided by a friendly game of KAHOOT! The Kahoot quiz will be 20 questions. It will include questions from the 17-18 staff directory and questions regarding the new building.
There will be one winner from each academic team and they will get to choose their classroom location. That order will be based on the Kahoot results!
So this is a very high stakes Kahoot game!
Obviously there are some guidelines and I will cover those on Monday the 25th. These include science teacher locations and empty classroom locations.
Sorry related arts and special ed, your rooms are already located :)
Athletics
ENMS Athletics:
On Tuesday night the ENMS Knights travelled to Leo for a big conference game against the Leo Lions. The 7th grade fought back and forth with the Lions throughout the game. Damon Bentley and Hunter Pfeiffer scored rushing TD’s for the Knights and the defense registered a safety after stuffing the Leo RB in the end zone, but the Knights came up short by a score of 26-14.
The 8th graders came out fired up, but played with the backs against their wall early due to a good Leo kickoff return. Playing against their toughest opponent of the year, the Knights struggled to move the ball, and to play against a big and tough line. The Knights fought hard all game, but fell by a score of 25-0 for their first loss of the year. Both teams travel to Indian Springs next Tuesday for another important matchup.
The Lady Knights Volleyball squads were in action this week with 7th grade victories over Dekalb and New Haven. Both Blue and Gold groups continue to play hard and improve during the season. Gold team will be in action Monday and Thursday at Home vs. ISMS and then Hamilton! 5pm start times! Blue team will be in action Monday at Carroll, Tuesday at home vs. Leo and then @ ISMS on Thursday.
The CC teams continues to impress everyone this year. This week’s event was canceled based on the fog day, but the Knights will in action Saturday at NH and then will be at home on Wednesday the 27th vs NH and Dekalb over at the sports complex. Both boys and girls squads have had multiple top 5 finishers in every race this season! Keep it up Knights.
In other athletics: we are still looking for a Boys basketball coach, girls basketball coach, assistant girls track and head boys track coach is anyone is interested, please contact Bill.
