St. Francis Catholic School - Saturday, January 18th
Dear SFCS Parents & Friends,
This weekend we switched our sfcshhi.com host server. If you have emailed anyone on our faculty since yesterday evening to that domain and have not received a reply then please try again or call the school on Tuesday. There is a possibility that some messages may not go through during the transition. All faculty email addresses will remain the same.
Our administration and faculty have been busy planning for Catholic Schools Week (see schedule below) and all the activities that come with it. Don't forget that we kick off Catholic Schools Week with our annual CSW Mass at 9:00am. Students will need to be in uniform and will be sitting with their class and teacher. Students need to meet in the Family Center at 8:45am so they can process in.
Our School Advisory Council (SAC) has been working hard in solidifying plans for the 2020/21 school year. Hard to believe that Re-Registration for returning families begins Friday, January 31st. Our Family School Association (FSA) is now at the height of Gala Preparation Season. Check out the FSA section below for their latest newsletter and information about how to purchase tickets and become a sponsor.
Our Athletic Department is halfway through the busiest season of the year, Basketball. If you have not had an opportunity to come and see our Wolves in action then consider doing so! The concession stand is always open! Check out the schedule in the Upcoming Events section below.
If you are looking for more things to do this 3 day weekend consider two opportunities in our Parish Community. This Saturday from 6-8:30pm, in the Family Center, the Knights of Columbus are hosting their annual Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction. Cost is $15 for adults and $7 for children under 12. Take-Out is available. Our SFCS Boys Basketball Team will be helping the Knights serve the food. Come out to support our fabulous Knights! Then on Sunday from 2-3pm join our Hilton Head Citizens for Life for their annual Rally for Life, in front of the St. Francis Thrift Shop. Wear red if possible. Come out to show your support for the unborn.
Have a wonderful remainder to your weekend!
Sincerely in Christ,
Brian Pope
