See What's Happening in Our Little World

What are we learning?

Social Studies- This week in Social Studies we began researching key concepts of our government. Students were divided into 6 groups and they are researching and will report on what they have learned.

ELA–-We have been working on comparing plots, characters, setting, and themes of stories by the same author.

Math- We started Chapter 9 which uses what we have learned in multiplication and builds on it so that students can learn how to use the Distributive Property of Multiplication. It took a lot of work, but we are beginning to see how all the steps work together.

Our class attendance was 95% this week. Our goal is 96%. We have several kiddos and a teacher out with illness.

Reminder that this is the season of Strep and nasty stomach bugs. If your child is sick, please keep them home. Germs are easily passed, especially in an elementary classroom. The best prevention is hand washing, coughing into your sleeve, and drinking lots of water.
