School Nutrition Services Information
North Penn School Nutrition Services is pleased to announce that our program has been approved for FREE meals again for ALL children 18 and under. Thank you for your patience and cooperation on Monday (8/31) while we had to record and identify all students. Starting again next week (9/8) you can look forward to a seamless curbside pick-up program similar to our process all summer. No identification will be requested and children are not required to be North Penn students. If you were charged at our Monday (8/31) meal pick-up, we will be removing the charge and your meals will be free.
We will still have some of the upgraded features we planned for our curbside pick-up this fall, these changes include:
New Pick-Up days and hours will be rain or shine:
(Starting 9/8)
-Tuesdays: 11:00am to 1:00pm and 5:00pm to 7:00pm
-Wednesdays: 7:00am to 9:00am
Meals will be bundled in FULL week packs. Families only need to come to one of the above pick up times/locations per week to receive meals for all children.
Meals are all available for FREE to any child 18 and under. Child(ren) do not need to be present to receive meals.
We have expanded our Curbside Pick-Up Sites to:
A.M Kulp Elementary
Bridle Path Elementary
General Nash Elementary
Gwyn Nor Elementary
Gwynedd Square Elementary
Hatfield Elementary
Inglewood Elementary
Montgomery Elementary
North Wales Elementary
Oak Park Elementary
Penndale Middle School (*Knapp students are encouraged to go here!)
Walton Farm Elementary
York Avenue Elementary
Other updates we have for this fall include online menus, delivery requests for families in need, and coming soon, pre-ordering options and dinner meals! For more information regarding our program, please visit the School Nutrition Services Free Curbside Meal Pick-Up during Virtual Learning webpage.
You may still apply for Free and Reduced price meals during our free for all meal program. Our free meal program is not guaranteed for the entire school year and in the event we go back to school, avoid the hassle and apply today! Your application will be valid for the entire 2020-2021 school year. Please visit SchoolCafe.com or the SchoolCafe App to easily apply online.
Thank you,

Guidance Corner
The Guidance Corner on the North Wales Elementary School site has a TON of information for parents. Ideas on how to help your child make friends, how to talk to kids about difficult subjects, how to get through homework more easily, what to do if your child is anxious, and where to get help during a family crisis can all be found here. We hope you will check it out often!
