Thank You Volunteers & Families!
Thank you to our families and volunteers who joined us for our first Family Faith In-Person event last Sunday, September 19!
It was wonderful to see our families (finally!) get together in learning and faith. We hope you enjoyed the activities presented and gained helpful resources in teaching your children. Below are pictures from the event.
We appreciate our representatives and volunteers who spent the afternoon with us in teaching and providing our In-Person Family Faith resources! Thank you to Bridgette, Kathryn, and Victor from Holy Family Parish's Caritas Program, Teri, Jen, Lillianna, Octavio, and Neyberry from Project IMT, Erika and Angelina from St. Peters Project Respect, and Lizette, Brianna, and Carissa from Family Faith. We could not have put together this fun event without you!
Please join us for our next In-Person Family Faith Session in October. More details to come!

Mass Readings for Sunday, September 26: Twenty-Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time
In Mark's Gospel, Jesus' message to us is to work together rather than creating conflict with each other. It is better to live life crippled than to cause someone to walk away from Jesus.
In speaking to His disciples, Jesus was very clear that what we do in this life will have eternal consequences. In fact, He is probably the most clear and specific leader of faith in history! Jesus explains that the good things we do, even something as apparently insignificant as giving a cup of water, will not go unrewarded. On the other hand, our unrepented loveless actions have consequences.
Discipleship is not a personal privilege to be guarded. Appreciation of the good deeds done by others is essential. In His kingdom, power-seeking and rivalry have no place: they are an obstacle and Jesus strives to teach us differently.
Activities for Family
Learning & Honoring Catholic Saints in September
During last week's Family Faith In-Person Session and Zoom Meetings, families learned more about significant September Catholic Holy Days, such as the Feast of Mother Teresa, Most Holy Name of Mary, and the Exaltation of the Cross.
As we begin this last week of September, we remember and pray to three saints as we honor their feast days. With your family, share these fun and resourceful ways to teach your children about these special days.
