Health & Safety Information

Within our opening plan we initially indicated that we would be welcoming volunteers back into our buildings. Out of an abundance of caution; and in evaluating where we are at this time, we are going to put a pause on having any volunteers in our building with students. We thank you for your understanding and support in keeping our students, families, and staff healthy and safe.

Face Masks - Thank you so much for all of your help in making sure our students are coming to school and on buses in masks. Here are a few helpful reminders regarding mask wearing.

Case Notification Communication:
Antioch CCSD 34 is working to provide families and staff with the necessary information regarding Covid-19 in the district. The district will continue to populate the Covid-19 Dashboard that will be updated daily and will provide you the information for each of the sites in the district. The buildings will continue to notify a family directly if they have a child who is identified as a close contact to a positive case. If your child ever becomes Covid-19 positive, please immediately contact and send the documentation to your school nurse. The Covid-19 dashboard will contain information on new positive cases for staff and students, new students/staff in quarantine (including those identified as a close contact to someone on campus or close contacts to cases outside of school). You may access the dashboard on our website by clicking the tab at the top called Departments/Health Services/Covid-19 Helpful Information or click here: Antioch CCSD 34 Covid-19 Dashboard.

PBIS Rewards

All schools in District 34 utilize the PBIS Rewards program to support our PBIS framework. PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports. It seeks to reduce or eliminate poor behavior school wide through the encouragement of positive behaviors. PBIS decreases office discipline referrals, increases instructional time, and improves student achievement. This intentional focus on positive reinforcement is creating and maintaining a positive school climate for the students and teachers.

As a parent, you will be able monitor your child’s progress and stay engaged with the PBIS Rewards Parent App! You can download it for free on Google Play, the App Store, or Amazon Apps. Adding your child is simple. Within the next week, you will receive an email or letter with a QR code from the school. Open the PBIS Rewards Parent App and scan this QR code. If you have multiple children using PBIS Rewards at their school, you will be able to add each one separately.
