An Ecosystem is all the living and nonliving environment and the ways they interact. All living things in a Ecosystem need water, food, temperature, and space to grow. The energy they need comes from the sun. Animals get energy by eating plants of other animals. They are called consumers.

This little bunny eats grass and other plants.
Omnivore
This red panda eats both meat and plants.
Carnivore
These wolf pups eat meat.
Decomposers
Food Chains and Food Webs
In a food chain, living things transfer energy by eating and being eaten.
A food web is a system of overlapping food chains.
All living things are connected and depend on each other in order to survive.
