MLK's Chinese New Year's dragon parade was a great way to begin the month of February! Students were excited to bring in the New Year by participating in the musical and festive parade throughout the building.
February Was a Busy Month!
Celebrating 100 days of School!
Third grade classes had fun participating in the 100th Day Long STEAM Challenge.
The Cat in the Hat Visits MLK!
The Cat in the Hat made a special visit to MLK to share the love of reading to our primary grades.
Spreading Love for Valentines Day!
Our Kindergarten annual Make and Take event created special memories for all participants. Valentines were shared with both family members and our special friends at Whispering Knolls.
Author's Publishing Party!
First and Second grade students celebrated their first published book by having a publishing party to share their hard work!
Math Investigations Night
Parents, teachers and students had a great night experiencing our new Math Investigations Program!
Richard Hight Visits MLK
Award winning international presenter and artist Richard Hight visited MLK. The mesmerizing visit resulted in two amazing pieces of artwork representing our Blue Lion mascot and Martin Luther King!
