Our Related Arts Schedule:

Tuesday- PE *Every Tuesday, please make sure your children wear tennis shoes/appropriate clothing to run around and play in.
Wednesday- Music
Thursday- Art
Friday- Clubs
ipads- Please continue to make sure that students charge their iPads every night, and place them back in their backpacks for the following day. Thanks again for your help with this! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me. mondah@apps.anderson1.org
Homework- Students still have a homework sheet in their green folder that says their homework for the night. Please be sure to check their behavior for that day. You do not need to sign this sheet.
Green Folders- Please send the green folder back to to school each day so we can put any important papers in them to send home.
Box Tops- Please send in any box tops you may have! Place them in a ziploc bag or envelope with your child's name, "Miss Monda", and 3rd grade written on it. This is an easy way to raise money for our school!
20 mins. daily reading-Reading logs are in your child's green folder. This will be an excellent way to keep up with your child's 20 minutes of daily reading homework.
Walking Club- This takes place every Tuesday and Thursday morning before school from 7:20-7:40. This is a great way for students to get a little extra exercise and burn some energy before their school day begins. Students do not need to "sign up." They simply drop their bookbag off in the gym and go to the walking track when they arrive.
Muliplication Facts- Repeat Repeat Repeat. The best way for students to learn their multiplication facts is repetition. Quiz them with random facts in the car or before they go to bed. They are familar with 0-2s, 4s. 5s, 9-11s.
The "dot thing" is when they use their multiplication table found in the Notability app on their iPad. They say the fact aloud and cover the answer with a dot. Then, they go back and say the problem again with the answer and uncover the dot to see if they answered correctly.
Miss Monda's absence- I am out of the classroom this week. Mrs. Bartz is the substitute teacher. She is a retired teacher from Spearman who is an exceptional teacher. Your kids are in good hands!
