International Paper Dolls

Join us in the Ingram Activity Centre on the lower level to make International Paper Dolls. All materials supplied for this drop-in craft. Very young children may need assistance from a caregiver.

Movie Night: "Wadjda"

A rebellious Saudi girl enters a Koran recitation competition at her school and hopes to win enough money to buy her own bicycle.

"Wadjda" was the first feature film shot entirely in Saudi Arabia and the first feature-length film made by a female Saudi director. "Wadjda" won numerous awards at film festivals around the world.

Yoga & Tea Tasting for Children

Children aged 7-11 years participate in a gentle yoga class and learn about different herbal teas for awareness and inner peace.

Drum Making Demo & Drum Circle

Hugh Hill demonstrates drum making for adults. He will then lead the group in a drumming circle. Hugh Hill is from Oneida Nation, living in St. Thomas, Ontario. Hugh has been a drum maker for the past 19 years. Hugh continues to learn and teach and pass along what he was been given and told. He has given workshops and teachings in small and large groups in Ontario, Michigan, and Quebec.
