Silver Gate Elementary

Week of 9/13/21

Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who attended our Virtual Back to School Nights, the FSG meeting and the Principal's Chat. It was great to see so many of you on Zoom. We are always so happy to make connections with you any way we can. I hope I was able to answer many of your questions and as always email me if you do have concern, suggestions or compliments.

For the last few weeks, the Silver Gate Light House Leader in Me Team, participated in an all day virtual professional development opportunity. The team from Franklin Covey lead us through the The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People foundational material and engaged us in activities and conversations that strengthened our understanding of The 7 Habits.

This group will continue to meet regularly to plan and discuss the work in our classrooms. Staff members will get access to the entire Leader in Me Digital Library and student materials are on the way to the school! Additionally, we will be meeting as a book club to discuss the concepts and practical applications presented in The Leader in Me book.

We are so excited to do this work!
